Bought from: Trans-Missie

Made by: Trans-Missie

Color: black

Size: M

Materiaa: 85% acrylic, 15% elastane

Look:

This is a simple basic binder. For me, it's not necessary to have a fancy-looking binder. If that's something you find important, then this might not be the binder for you. The material is slightly see-through: your back will be slightly visible but the front area remains solid black. The binder has a zipper to close the thing. At the bottom it has three clasps/hooks. They're similar to the clasps of a bra. This might cause dysphoria in some, so be aware of that!

Binding:

I put on this binder like a jacket. I let it hang loose, then I adjust the clasps with the right tightness. And then I zip the binder up and I'm done!

Personally, I'm not a big fan of binding in general. Mainly because the tightness causes some discomfort. That's why I usually only bind for a short period of time: 1-2 or 3 hours. However, I like this binder. It's okay. A big asset I'm fan of, is the zipper and the clasps. The zipper makes it super easy to put on and take off. The clasps have 3 'settings' that adjust how tight the binder is. Here I used the first, minimum tightness. This makes it quite flexible and you could basically change the tightness throughout the day if you want to, instead of having to take the entire thing off! The material is elastic and flexible enough to move around in. However, when I sit down and bend over a bit, the underside creeps up a bit. And finally, I sadly find the material itch after wearing it for a while.

Comparison:

You can see a subtle difference between the sports bra (the first picture each time) and the binder. Though the angle is slightly different too, which also adds to possible differences here. But in real life, I do notice the difference. Especially when I'm unsure, I just have to look down and see my chest is flatter. In these pictures, the binder tightness is at a minimum. I'm sure the difference between the bra and binder will be bigger if the tightness is at a maximum!

Recommended?

The binder costs €57,95. Which is kinda pricey in my opinion. But I'm already having this one 2 years and it's in a good shape. Partially, because I don't wear it as much, though. But that doesn't take away that it's a good quality binder and it does its job well. If you struggle to get in and out of your binder, thathenn one with zipper and clasps might be for you! Trans-Missie also offers binders with Velcro straps.

Pros:

+ zipper

+ 3 clasps for 3 different tightness

+ easy to put on and take off thanks to aforementioned advantages

Cons:

- pricey

- might itch
